DNA, Animo Acids, Proteins!!!

Purpose:

- Explain structure of DNA

- Identify the difference between DNA and RNA

- Research how amino acids are 'coded' from DNA and how amino acids link to form proteins.

Assignment:

(1) Draw a diagram of DNA
Include and Label: Sugar Phosphate Backbone
Purine Bases (each base should be a different color)
Pyrimidine Bases

(2) Draw a diagram of RNA
Include labels
What is the difference???

(3) a- Find a video on how Proteins are made from DNA/ RNA
b- Summarize the video in a google doc. and "share" both the link and your summary with
